What associations often arise at the mention of “dashing” 90s? First and foremost people think of the rampant crime, racketeering, lawlessness, and the education of a huge number of criminal gangs. And this is no coincidence, because in the 90s Russia faced a wave of widespread criminal gangs, the leaders of many of which have become simple “come from the people”.

Gangs

Ermolov Vyacheslav Evgenievich was born in 1962 in Ryazan. Not having received higher education and some profession, he engaged in petty jobs and later became “taksovat”. While the Yermolov called sportsman impossible: he has always been tall and impressive weight. In its fullness, he later got the nickname Elephant.

Created by Yermolov and his buddy Maximov in the late 80-ies of the group originally was called Prezentasiya (in honor of the eponymous café, where the citizens loved to spend time). However, after the murder Maksimov Vyacheslav Yermolov became the sole head of the gang and renamed it in his honor on Slonovsky.

Personal characteristics

“Elephant” has always differed special cruelty, both in relation to competitors and in relations with their “clients”. Inside the criminal group he was able to build a clear discipline and subordination. His orders and decisions were not discussed and were binding on all members of organized crime groups.
