Safonovsky electric factory: history, description, contacts

JSC «Safonovsky electric factory” is a major manufacturer of electric motors in a wide range of capacities, exhausters, industrial fans, electric boilers, water and air heaters. The products of the enterprise through a prudent combination of quality and value are always in demand in the domestic and foreign markets. In 2003, SEZ became the concern "RUSELPROM".

Creation

The decision on the organization in the Smolensk region the production of synchronous motors was adopted by the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR on January 30, 1960. As a base of operation has been selected the Central trust electromasterz ‘Dorogobuzhskaya” in the district Safonovo. Already in the autumn of that year, employees collected four pilot generator, the tests are passed successfully.

The First building Safonovsky electric plant was built by the end of 1960. However, serial production of the main products had to wait 10 years. In 1971, the BMS began to produce a whole family of electric water heaters with the power range 9-400 kW. These products and remains an important direction of work of factory.

Main products

In 1972, at Safonovsky electric plant began production compressor synchronous motors. A year later production of thyristors. The staff responsible attitude to their work. Their products on the famous Leipzig fair was awarded a large gold medal.

Safonovsky electric factory is becoming one of the leaders in the industry. Innovative engine series of YES-304 received at a representative exhibition in the Czech Republic next gold medal.

80-e years were marked by the modernization production base. In 1987, the plant was expanded by a new production site. By the end of 1992, the workers released a commemorative – one hundred thousandth electric car.

Today

The Entry into the market was difficult for Safonovsky electric plant. In 1992 the company was corporatized. In 1999, certified ISO 9000 international standard. However, the financial performance of the company was unstable.

In December 2003, the FEZ became part of the concern "RUSELPROM", which helped to raise funds for the complex re-equipment of technological capacities. In particular, they purchased foreign metalcutting equipment. Attracting large loans has led to the fact that in 2009, the plant declared bankrupt. However, the introduction of external management made it possible to find some ways of improvement of the enterprise. Today, the SEZ continues.

The facility is equipped with CNC machines, automated lines, unique equipment. Updated machines, turning, boring, drilling group. For welding area purchased the installation of a computerized plasma cutting family, the ‘Yenisei river”. Punching units allow to make as a single product, to ensure uninterrupted production. In 2010, the plant has acquired the latest in winding-insulation of the complex, allowing to carry out the winding rods in automatic mode.

Production

At the moment TD OOO «Safonovsky electric factory” offers the customers a wide range of electric machines:

• Electric motors asynchronous (over 40 episodes), the most popular of which is the A4 model;
• Synchronous (8 episodes);
• Generators, including traction and explosion-proof;
• Starting devices;
• Drying fans for cooling towers;
• Electric motors crane, excavator;
• Water heaters, and air

The company is able to produce the engines giants with a capacity of up to 2000 kW. In recent years, the FEZ has mastered the manufacture of electrical machines in explosion-proof version, generators for BelAZ dump trucks, motors for operation in the variable frequency drives. The company has a license of Gosatomnadzor, which allows to produce electric motors for domestic nuclear power plants.
