Making a rating of Swiss watch brands is not an easy task. The thing is that it is quite difficult to establish a single criterion by which the prestige of a particular manufacturer will be determined. What to take as a basis – the price category? And if the cost of the products of the two brands is about the same, what then? It is no less difficult to compile a rating based on the type of watch movements or, say, the popularity of the brand. Many experts note that the information presented in a specialized publication is the subjective opinion of either a journalist or the manufacturing companies themselves (sometimes we are talking about banal "custom-made" articles).

The products of this manufacturer are unique. They are known all over the world thanks to their aviation design and stylish chronographs. Since the forties of the twentieth century, Breitling has been the official watch brand of the US Air Force pilots. Thanks to the work of the company's specialists, such novelties as watches with a moving circular scale located around the dial, products with navigation calculators that allow pilots to determine the flight time as accurately as possible, models with a twenty-four-hour chronograph saw the light. Currently, watches of this brand cost at least five thousand dollars.
