The Library is a place where a lot of books in different areas and anyone may come and choose a book to read, for work or for their Hobbies. Such places exist in the city of Surgut.

History has more than 100 years, when for the first time in 1905 was created the public library, was initiated by the Surgut district, the highest representative of authority. 
Today are 13 libraries, including Children's and Central. Also in each secondary school has its own mini-library, in preschool, in College and other educational institutions.

Central library
The Library of Surgut located in different parts of the city, and this institution is located at the address: Prospekt Druzhby, 11a. Each child can come here to choose a book, stay in the reading room or visit the educational centre of reading, which combined reading room and games room, as this can come in the smallest children.
