Your baby often regurgitates, is sluggish and does not gain weight well – all this, in addition to arching the back, should alert mom and make her consult a neurologist.

2. High muscle tone. To check this, put a palm under the back of the baby's head and try to tilt the baby's head down with it so that he touches his chest with his chin. If this is difficult, then the child has increased muscle tone, and he needs the help of specialists. Usually, such toddlers are prescribed a massage, they are offered to carry the child "in a column" and rub a special gel into the lumbar and neck area.

3. Colic is also the reason why your child bends back a lot. Unfortunately, this phenomenon is not uncommon: colic occurs in three-week-old babies and, as a rule, significantly decreases by the age of 4 months. Signs of this problem are crying crumbs, during which he may have gases, legs pressed to the tummy and arched back.
